MAIT gives you and your coding agent a project workspace on your own computer: a container with the project's tools inside, which you start, enter and review.

Start with how the parts fit together, then choose a component from the catalog.

Everything is beta: Linux is Beta, macOS and Windows are Alpha.

Overview

How MAIT fits together

One workspace on your computer
Illustrative. A workspace reaches what your host and its configuration provide. Select a boundary to highlight it.

You work in a project environment and ask an agent to help. The environment is a container on your computer with the project tools already inside, so the agent can start real work without asking you to install things first.

Separate work runs in separate containers, so you can discard an environment and start again instead of repairing it.

The agent reaches extra capabilities as named tools. Each tool is configured with its client and access to its target, and that configuration decides what the agent can reach.

For developers. AIDC Launch starts the container from the project devcontainer configuration. The MAIT image supplies the tools inside it. MCP tools such as MCP Console give the agent terminals it can keep open and share with you.
