Beta

What it doesBasics

The VaaS CLI is the command line for relay administrators. It checks relay health, lists the tracked sessions and asks the relay to end one by token. Listing and dropping are separate permissions, and a drop does not wait for the two applications to disconnect.

How an administrator checks the relay
AdministratorSigned in, with list or drop permission.
VaaS CLIHealth, session list and drop by token.
VaaS relayOf the selected MAIT environment.
Illustrative. An on-premise relay is administered through its HTTPS session API.
  • Relay health and version
  • List tracked sessions across tenants
  • Request that a session end, by token
  • Sign-in, credential checks, diagnostics and update staging

First useBasics

  1. Select the environment with MAIT_CHANNEL and sign in with vaas login.
  2. Run vaas health, then vaas session list.
  3. Drop a session only when its token belongs to exactly one tenant, then list again and confirm with the peers.

$ vaas login
$ vaas session list
$ vaas session drop <TOKEN>
$ vaas doctor
